DENVER, CO – One person was transported to a hospital after a two-vehicle collision west of the Denver International Airport on Friday.
The crash occurred before 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of 56th Avenue and Chambers Road, according to Denver Police.

Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene, but did not say if they were cited or arrested.
Officials shut down the northbound lanes.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
