DENVER, CO – One life was claimed, and four people were hurt in a two-pick-up truck collision near Denver International Airport on Sunday.
The crash occurred before 3 p.m. on 120th Avenue near Powhaton Road, according to CBS News. The impact of the collision led one person to die from their injuries, and four others were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Colorado State Patrol initially said two people were killed in the crash, but later confirmed it was actually one.
By 3:15 p.m., officials shut down the area and asked drivers to seek alternative routes.
