NORTHEAST DENVER, CO – One person died, and another was injured as a result of a hit-and-run crash in Northeast Denver on Saturday, Denver Police said.

The incident happened before 5 a.m. at the eastbound Interstate 70 and Havana Street. There, four vehicles collided, and one of the drivers fled the scene prior to the first responders’ arrival.
Police said one person succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while another was sent to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Police closed eastbound Interstate 70 along Central Park for the scene clean-up process and overall scene clean-up process.
