AURORA, CO – A three-vehicle collision at East Smoky Hill Road and South Chambers Road sent two people to the hospital Wednesday.

The multi-vehicle wreck happened before 10 a.m., Aurora Police reports. The wounded parties were left in serious conditions. Officers shut down the area.

During those closures, drivers were asked to use East Quincy Avenue and South Buckley Road as alternative routes. Authorities reopened all lanes just before 1:30 p.m.
