DENVER, CO – Authorities were called to the scene of a major injury crash Tuesday afternoon, May 20, in northeast Denver, according to the Denver Police Department.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes of Havana Street at 49th Avenue, near Bimbo Bakeries. By 2:45 p.m., Denver Police Department officials were onsite conducting an investigation.
Little information has been made available, but officials indicated that at least one involved party sustained serious injuries.
A section of southbound Havana Street was shut down at 51st Avenue. Motorists were asked to search for alternate routes.
