DENVER, CO – A driver of a black car was responsible for causing a T-bone crash involving a Cherry Creek school bus on Friday morning, CBS News reports.
Preliminary details show that the driver of the black car was making a left turn when they did not have the right of way at the intersection of Dtc Boulevard & East Union Avenue. The car driver collided with a school bus going straight.
The impact of the crash left significant front-end damage to the car and caused the school bus to crash into some hedges.
The car driver was left with unspecified injuries, while the school bus driver was uninjured. No children were on board the bus at the time of the collision.
Denver police responded to the scene of the crash just before 7 a.m.
Police did not say if they cited the driver of the black car.
