WHEAT RIDGE, CO – A motorcyclist’s life was claimed on Wednesday after they were struck by a vehicle west of Pferdesteller Park.
Wheat Ridge police first announced the collision at 8:36 a.m. and said it happened at the intersection of West 32nd Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. Officers and EMS crews rushed to the scene.

Ambulance crews hurried the motorcyclist to a hospital while officers stayed behind for the investigation. First responders confirmed the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries after arriving at the hospital.
By 11:45 a.m., officials reopened Sheridan.
No citations or criminal charges have been reported at this time.
