BRECKENRIDGE, CO – A driver was sent to a hospital following a semi-truck crash that happened on Highway 9 along Tordal Way on Thursday.

The collision occurred around 3:30 p.m., according to CBS News. Preliminary details show that the truck overturned after the driver crashed. The truck came to rest on the southbound lanes and a small portion of the northbound lanes.

First responders said the truck driver was transported to the emergency room out of precaution, and has not disclosed their current physical condition.

Officials closed the north and southbound lanes. Authorities later reopened the northbound lanes, but said the southbound lanes remained shut down.
