LARKSPUR, CO – Local fire crews extinguished the flames from a work truck on I-25 South Wednesday morning, according to Denver 7 Traffic.
Jayson Luber, a Denver 7 Traffic reporter, first announced the accident at 6:18 a.m. and revealed that fire crews had to shut down all of the southbound lanes, including the shoulder.
The work truck that was on fire is now basically out. This is SB 25 in Larkspur south of Castle Rock. Minimal delay as speeds are dropping into the 30’s instead of the 80’s. pic.twitter.com/4JGGvf4ydo
Fire crews have not specified the exact cause of the fire or said if anyone was injured as a result of the accident.
