News: Hit-and-run suspect arrested after fatal pedestrian crash in Denver

DENVER, CO – A hit-and-run suspect was arrested after causing a collision that led to a pedestrian’s death on Sunday.

The pedestrian crash happened around 11 p.m. on the 3600th block of North Quebec Street, Denver police said. Officers identified the suspect as 50-year-old Calisto Ortega-Uribe.

Ortega-Uribe is “being held for investigation of Vehicular Homicide.”

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
