AURORA, CO – A man’s life was claimed after his red car crashed into a tree in Aurora on Friday, CBS News reports.
The single-car crash happened before 6 a.m. at the intersection of East Iliff Avenue and South Elkhart Street.
Aurora Police arrived to find a mangled red car touching the tree, and the male driver inside.
EMS crews rushed the man to a hospital, where he later died.
Authorities have not released the man’s name.
Police shut down the area for the scene clean-up process and reopened all lanes before 9 a.m.
The cause of the single-car crash is under investigation.
