GOLDEN, CO – Jefferson County deputies and Colorado Department of Transportation shut down U.S. 6 after a crash between a cement truck and a box truck on Saturday, Denver7 said.
The impact of the collision resulted in a hazmat spill and caused one truck to overturn, prompting officials to close both directions of the highway along Johnson Road near Milepost 275.
Delays were reported as officials worked to clean up debris leftover from the crash.
No injuries or citations were reported.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
