DENVER, CO – A pedestrian lost their life to a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the East Colfax neighborhood on Monday, according to Denver police reports.
#TRAFFIC: #DPD officers are investigating a fatal hit and run crash involving a pedestrian and a motorist in the area of E Colfax Ave / N Trenton St. The pedestrian has been pronounced on scene. Expect delays in the area.

The collision took place before 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Trenton Street. Upon arrival, police declared the pedestrian had died at the scene. Officers also told the general public to expect delays as crews worked to clean up the debris from the crash and as they continued with their investigation.
Police are working to determine what the suspect and their vehicle looked like.
