News: Pedestrian seriously hurt in collision in Central Park

DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was left in serious condition after getting run over by a vehicle while walking in the Central Park neighborhood Wednesday. 

The collision took place in the 2300th block of North Quebec Street, Denver police said. Officers arrived at the scene after 11:15 p.m. 

EMS crews were also summoned to the crash site and rushed the pedestrian to a local hospital, where they are recovering. Police and DoT workers stayed behind and shut down Quebec Street along East 24th Avenue for the scene clearance process. 

Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No citations or criminal charges were formally announced.
