LONGMONT, CO – A driver of a red Ford pickup truck died after a crash involving a white work van on Interstate 25 in Longmont on Monday.

The collision took place before 6 a.m., according to CBS News. The incident unfolded when the red pickup truck, traveling behind the van, attempted to pass the van by taking the right lane.

After making the pass, the truck came onto the same lane as the van, and the van clipped the back of the pickup truck.

The pickup truck crashed into a concrete barrier and then overturned.

The pickup truck driver died at the scene.
