DENVER, CO – A scooter rider was taken to a hospital following a hit-and-run collision that took place in the Cory-Merill neighborhood on Thursday.
Denver police reported the crash at 6:54 a.m. and said it took place at the intersection of South Colorado Boulevard and East Florida Avenue.

The driver who struck the scooter operator did not render aid to the victim and did not call 911. They immediately fled the scene.
EMS crews rushed to the scene and transported the scooter rider to a hospital for treatment.
