DENVER, CO – A scooter rider was seriously hurt in a crash that occurred east of Smith Lake before 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to Denver police.

Police said the scooter rider, who was operating a stand-up scooter, collided with a vehicle while crossing the intersection of South Williams Street and East Center Avenue.
