News: Scooter rider seriously hurt in crash along Smith Lake

DENVER, CO – A scooter rider was seriously hurt in a crash that occurred east of Smith Lake before 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to Denver police.

Police said the scooter rider, who was operating a stand-up scooter, collided with a vehicle while crossing the intersection of South Williams Street and East Center Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers told drivers to expect delays as crews worked to clean up debris from the crash.
