DENVER, CO – At least one person suffered serious injuries due to a collision last Friday night, July 19, in west Denver, reports FOX 31.
Denver Police said the accident occurred on a stretch of West Colfax Avenue near the offramp from southbound Interstate 25. It was first reported at about 8:30 p.m.
While it was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck, two vehicles were involved. A photo taken at the scene shows that at least one vehicle was severely mangled in the incident.
Officials indicated that at least one patient required treatment for major injuries.
Motorists were warned of delays impacting the area.
