NORTHEAST DENVER, CO – A motorcyclist, who Denver Police said was going at a high rate, died after rear-ending a truck Friday.

This crash was reported around 1:15 p.m. in the vicinity of East 51st Avenue and Tower Road. Upon arrival, police declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Officers and crews also closed the southbound lanes of Tower along Elmendorf Drive for the standard scene clearance and investigation period.
