The collision happened before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of East 40th Avenue and Walnut Street. New details show that the hit-and-run suspect, 29-year-old Steven Barr, had failed to stop at a red light when he crashed into a cyclist.
The cyclist was left in serious condition.
Barr is being held for “investigation of leaving the scene of an accident causing serious bodily injury.”
