DENVER, CO – According to an update from 9News, it was a scooter rider who was killed after getting hit by a box truck in Union Station Tuesday.
The pedestrian collision took place before 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of 20th Street and Lawrence Street.
Denver police initially said the person who died was a pedestrian, but later confirmed it was a scooter rider.
Officers temporarily closed a portion of the area for the cleanup process and investigation.
As of this writing, the scooter rider’s identity has not been disclosed.
