AURORA, CO – A woman was booked into jail following a pursuit-turned-collision in Aurora on Wednesday, KDVR reports.

The incident unfolded when Aurora Police tried to pull over the woman, who was driving a black minivan. The woman refused to listen, initiating a short pursuit.

Aurora police turned off their lights and sirens because of her dangerous driving techniques. It was not only after that she crashed her vehicle into a building off Potomac Street and 14th Avenue.

The building was vacant, so no one was injured.

During the investigation, Aurora police discovered she had an active warrant for her arrest for a parole violation from a prior robbery conviction. They booked her into jail on the warrant. She is being charged with felony eluding and faces other charges.
