DENVER, CO – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash that took place in the Valverde neighborhood before 8 a.m. Monday.
Denver police’s preliminary details show that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area of West Alameda Avenue and South Pecos Street.

After arriving at the scene, police shut down eastbound West Alameda Avenue, starting at South Pecos Street and ending at South Navajo Street.
