WESTMINISTER, CO – Three people had to go to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision in Westminster on Tuesday, KDVR reports.
The crash happened before 3 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 36 and Church Ranch Boulevard. The impact of the collision caused one vehicle — a black sedan — to overturn and total a white car.
One person sustained serious injuries, and two others were left with unspecified injuries.
Transportation crews and first responders redirected drivers to take the exit at Church Ranch Boulevard and redirected traffic to an express lane.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
