News: Serious injuries sustained in hit-and-run in Elyria-Swansea

DENVER, CO – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash reported before 10:45 p.m. on Saturday in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood.

Denver Police said the pedestrian was struck by the hit-and-run vehicle on the 3700th block of East 50th Avenue.

The pedestrian was sent to the hospital for treatment.

At the time of the reporting, police told drivers in the area to seek alternative routes as crews worked to clear the scene.

Police are working to determine what the suspect and their vehicle looked like.
