LAKEWOOD, CO – Three Central High School students and one coach were sent to the hospital after an activity bus collision around 8 p.m. Saturday.
Denver 7 said the activity bus collided with another vehicle at the intersection of 6th Avenue Freeway and Kipling Street. One or at least two people were ejected from their vehicles.
The District 51 spokesperson confirmed that the 13 students and two coaches on board were traveling to a wrestling tournament.
As of this writing, the extent of injuries that were sustained has not been specified, and officials have not confirmed the students’ and the coach’s current physical conditions.
