CENTENNIAL, CO – The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the details behind a fatal pedestrian crash that happened Sunday.

Denver 7 said the women were struck by a westbound vehicle as they were crossing the intersection of East Smoky Hill Road and South Waco Street. They died from their injuries a short time later.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
