DENVER, CO – Denver police are actively searching for a suspect in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that took place in the Villa Park neighborhood last Saturday, Aug. 30.
Police have not provided a description of the suspect. However, they told KDVR that they believe the suspect was driving a large, dark-colored SUV when they struck a person operating an electric bike. The crash occurred after 1:30 a.m. in the 4800th block of West 14th Avenue and led the cyclist to die from their injuries at the scene.
The vehicle was left with minor to moderate damage to the front bumper and undercarriage.
