GREELY, CO – A suspect was arrested in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a 20-year-old woman on Sunday, Oct. 19, 9News reports.
The suspect was allegedly impaired while driving and crashed into a 20-year-old woman crossing the intersection of CO 47 and County Road 60 ½. The suspect immediately fled the scene.
The woman died from her injuries after 1:30 a.m. She has since been identified as Talia Rodriguez.
Weld County deputies have identified the suspect as 18-year-old Jose Temoxtle. He was charged with vehicular homicide-DUI, leaving the scene of an accident involving death, and failure to report an accident.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation and asked the public to reach out if they had any more information about the crash.
