DENVER, CO – A pedestrian lost their life after they were struck by a vehicle at the eastbound I-70 and southbound I-225 connector Friday morning.
The pedestrian, who was initially traveling in another vehicle, had gotten out of their vehicle to retrieve an item that had fallen onto the road. Denver police said the other vehicle struck the pedestrian as they were trying to pick up the item.
The force of the collision led the pedestrian to succumb to their injuries.
Officials have not announced any charges or disclosed the victim’s identity at this time.
