News: Person hospitalized following bicycle-vehicle crash in Denver

DENVER, CO – One person was hospitalized following a bicycle-vehicle crash outside of Pablo’s Coffee – Penn Street in Denver on Saturday.

The collision took place before 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Pennsylvania Avenue and East 13th Avenue, according to Denver Police.

Police said the cyclist, who operated an electric bike, was sent to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police closed westbound Pennsylvania Avenue to accommodate the scene clean-up process. During that time, drivers were asked to seek alternative routes.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
