News: Suspect sought in hit-and-run at I-25 in Denver

DENVER, CO – Denver Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run crash that happened on the northbound I-25 around 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 20.

Police believe the suspect was driving a blue Dodge Charger when they crashed into a white sedan on northbound I-25 while changing lanes. The force of the collision caused the sedan to plow into a concrete median.

The Dodge driver did not remain at the scene or call 911, and immediately drove off in their vehicle and exited onto Colfax Avenue.

The driver of the white sedan and their two passengers, children, were left with serious injuries.

Police believe the suspect’s vehicle sustained minor damage and described it as also having white or silver stripes.
