SOUTHEAST DENVER, CO – Several cars were damaged after a parking garage collapsed and fell on top of them on Monday, CBS News reports.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on the 3600th block of South Yosemite Street outside of a 10-story multi-tenant office building.

Denver Fire believes a concrete support beam fell, causing 20 vehicles to fall underneath and trapping them.

Firefighters confirmed no injuries, but drivers will have to wait for a minimum of three days to retrieve their vehicles. The slight waiting period will give the owner of the parking garage some time to first hire a structural engineer and get an emergency shoring permit so crews can stabilize the garage, before drivers can get their vehicles back.
