DENVER, CO – One person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle collision that happened along Washington Park Tuesday, according to Denver police.

Police first announced the crash after 9 p.m., stating it took place at the intersection of South Corona Street and Louisiana Avenue. EMS crews also responded to the scene and took the injured person to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police stayed behind and shut down the intersection for the clean-up process and investigation. Officers told commuters to expect delays as they worked to remove the debris from the crash and the impacted vehicle.
