COMMERCE CITY, CO – A pedestrian lost their life after getting struck by a truck in Commerce City on Friday, 9News reports.
Officials told the source that the pedestrian was supposedly walking on Interstate 76 when they were hit by the truck.
The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries a short time later.
Colorado State Patrol and other officials closed the area immediately following the collision. As expected, traffic delays continued for well over 30 minutes as crews worked to clean up the area so CSP could pursue an investigation.
Authorities have not released the pedestrian’s name or confirmed other details regarding this crash.
