DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in the University Hills area on Saturday, according to Denver police.

Police said the collision happened around 4 a.m. at the southbound I-25 and Yale Avenue connector. KDVR said the pedestrian was left with serious injuries and later died.
Closures were initiated for the interstate and have since been lifted.
