DENVER, CO – Officials identified the name of the victim and the wrong-way driver in Sunday’s fatal crash that happened on Interstate 25 near 20th Street.
Officials said it was Berthoud Fire Lieutenant Ken Bradley who succumbed to his injuries, according to 9News.
Police said wrong-way driver, 25-year-old Kevem Barbosa Roque Dos Santos, was going south on northbound Interstate 25, when he crashed into Bradley.
Bradley was driving a truck at the time of the crash. What remains unclear is whether he was on or off-duty when the incident occurred.
An investigation is underway.
