The collision happened on Interstate 25 South in a construction zone. Fox was driving a red Ford F350 pickup truck behind a white work van and attempted to pass the work van on his right by using the shoulder. Fox made his way onto the shoulder before getting back on the interstate. Once he returned to the road, the white van clipped the back of his pickup truck.
The truck spun out of control, crashed into a barrier, and rolled over, claiming Fox’s life. Fox leaves behind his wife, Caitlin, and their 22-month-old baby girl.
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the details behind this crash and has not said if the van driver was cited or will be facing charges.
